Luvs Picnic

Luv had her yearly labor day picnic and it was lots of fun! Tony's sister Anne brought her pet rat...yep I said rat....and alley fell in love with it. I was a little freaked out by the darn thing and alley was holding it and kissing it!

Alley was doing dishes for me the other day and she wanted me to take a picture of her! Then today she decided she was still a baby so she needed to use her walker.

Corn

Every year we do corn with mom and dad. We blanch it and cut it off the cob so we can freeze it for using in the winter. Alley was a big helper this year. She tried to husk the corn but she couldn't stand all the "hair" and the worms would freak her out too. She had to hug and kiss the corn too after it was husked.

Mike and Ellies Picnic

At Mike and Ellies picnic they always have a serious water fight, and I do mean serious! Alley had a great time. She only got scared once but then they got out the water balloons and she was all about those!!

Here are just some cute pictures of alley and chris playing last night. She made him go down her little slide...that was cute! Then they were hiding under her pool trying to scare me. Sorry the pictures are a little blury...i took them on my cell phone.

Nicholas Birthday

Nicholas birthday party was on saturday. The rain kind of ruined the swimming but it was still a cool party. Karen got this pinata that you pulled the strings and you never knew which string would release all the candy. Nicholas was getting sad because none of the strings were working. You can see in one of the pictures that he is getting ready to cry. Eventually all the candy came out and alley was on it man! She had like a 5lb bag of candy when she was done picking it up. My girl didn't waste any time! And I just threw that picture of luv in there because I know she will kill me!!!!!!!!!

Super Chevy

Last weekend Chris and I went away for the weekend to a Super Chevy Magazine Car Show. Alley stayed home with her Mimi and Pappy but I just wanted to share our good news from the show. Chris won Top 20 Editors Choice and he is probably going to be in the magazine at some point and he also won 2nd in his class. It was all very exciting. It will do a slide show thru all of the winners but you will see a couple of chris and then there is a picture of the 2 of us with his truck. Its pretty cool!
