Nicholas Birthday

Nicholas turned 2 today and we had a birthday party at his house. It was very nice and unlike the 4th of July we finally got to swim! She did a great job. She just finished swim lessons and she blows bubbles, dips her ears in and she goes under water. She is a little water bug just like her mama. She also thought she looked beautiful in her nanny knodes sun hat.

New Hat

Alley's Aunt Sharon bought her a hat when she was on vacation a few months ago. I think she looks adorable so I just had to share.

Haley

We have a golden retriever named haley. She is almost 4 years old and she is allison's best friend. She loves to torture haley. She pulls her tongue, fur, wiskers, eye lids, anything you can think of and Haley just lays there and takes it all. Lately she has been starting to ride Haley like a horse. She is starting to understand what to do with Haleys toys now too. She tries to throw them but she just throws them right in haleys face. Haley just looks at us like "somone please rescue me" but she is a good sport for the most part.

Mike and Ellie's

We had picnic number two on saturday night at mike and ellies. We had alot of fun. There was an awesome water battle although all three of us managed to stay dry! When we first got there alley was going around taking peoples hats and sunglasses. She finally found the right combination that she wanted and she put the hat and sunglasses on her self, she thought she was cool! I think its cute that she actually thinks she is wearing the sunglasses correctly. Also last night she conquered going down a small step without holding on. Where does the time go?

The Phone

Alley has inherited her daddy and grammy's luv for talking on the phone. She steals the phone and then gets mad when we try to take it from her. One time she actually called 911! We even try taking the battery out of the phone so she can still play with it but that doesn't work because she knows something is different because the phone doesn't make noise and light up. She is way too smart.

July 4th

We had a picnic at my brother Jasons house on Friday. It was lots of fun, despite the weather. Most everyone went swimming even though it was raining. Unfortunately Allison was just getting over being sick so we couldn't swim but she was a pretty good sport about it. Her cousin Nicholas has very cool toys so she was pretty ok with that.
